Evelyn Ranaldsdottir (Jarl)

The matronly-but-hard-nosed leader of the community. She was grievously wounded by the crow attack and has asked you to collect gold and other supplies for the town before winter comes.

Erik Godwinson

The mead brewer of the town, he is a jovial type and a good friend of Xaver.

Isabelle & Leo Klor

Town elders and Xaver's parents. They are cursed by a spirit, causing them bad luck.

Sigrid Arnoldsdottir

The town healer. A good friend of Oddfrid's.

Magnus Magnusson

The biter old skald who raised Thrud. 

Orestis the Scholar

And elf who lives just outside town, he collects books and secrets in equal measure and is said to pay for strange items found in the wilds. He is studying the corpse of the man-crow.

Gerla

A young girl who was interested in Oddfrid and then saved by hey during the crow attack.

Strigga Sharp-Axe

A dwarven mercernary captain she is based out of the Thirsty Dragon, a river inn some 5 miles downriver from town. She has befiended Thrud and is known to hire operatives for jobs.

Frida Helmsdottir

A travelling merchant, she hired Oddfrid as a bodyguard last fall and the two became friends. She is currently away but is meant to pass through town again before the solstice. 

Atropa, Belle of the Black Woods

A powerful woodland spirit, she has met Thrud and said that a debt is owed her from the elders of Greenmark.
